Dear friends and colleagues, one more year, we shall hold and celebrate our Congress of the Spanish Arthroscopy Association. In this particular case our meeting will take place in Valencia, a modern and embracing city that leaves no visitor indifferent. During the daylight hours its light and shine are well-night unmistakeable, and the Moon reigns over its nights.
In order to compete with the many attractives of this beautiful city, we have prepared a very extensive scientific programme, in which we shall sail all the salt and synovial seas and oceans of arthroscopic articular pathology. To this aim we have prepared three simultaneous activity spaces where each one may choose where, wherefrom, whereto and how deep to Sali and navigate.
It is for this reason that I am requesting your presence at the Congress, but not only your physical presence but an active and participative one, where your voice and your opinion has the same weight as that of any other colleague, where your experience may enrich our own.
It is because of this that we have envisaged a visual, dynamic, active and, yes, if I may say so, innovative Congress, where friendly debate and the considerations of the most experienced and the work of the youngest are cojoined. Maturity and youth, experience and just-initiate, all of us do thus participate in this event, each one with his/her own contribution. We have therefore prepared and programmed expert debate panels, videotechnique round tables and presentations, on-line and deferred surgical technique demonstrations, update sessions, report and communication sessions, ongoing formation courses, and a highly interesting expert consideration and discussion panel which shall be the closing event of the Congress. This very large event offer will be held simultaneously in three auditories, so that any one of us may, at any given moment, select his/her preferred joint and condition.
At the end of the working day, when your scientific spirit has been sated, enriched and fulfilled, you may still wish to enjoy the many nooks and crannies of Valencia, which we shall make known to you so that you may feel “as at home”.
Friends, colleagues, for many of you this may be just “one Congress more”; for us, it is “our” Congress and we therefore hope that, upon returning home, you may remember it as a very special one. This is our hope, our wish, and our ambition.
Come and participate! Valencia is expecting you!
With a hearty and heartfelt greeting,
Eduardo Sánchez Alepuz
President of the Organizing Committee
